Paul Msiza
Rev. Ngwedla Paul Msiza is a native of South Africa. He was installed on July 25, 2015, as the second African to be President of the Baptist World Alliance.
Prior to serving as President, Rev. Msiza was a BWA Vice President and has been actively involved in the worldwide Baptist family since 2000.
President Msiza has also served as President of the All Africa Baptist Fellowship (2006-2011) and General Secretary of the Baptist Convention of South Africa (2001-2010), and remains senior pastor of Peniel Salem Baptist Church in Pretoria, South Africa. While serving as President of the BWA, Rev. Msiza has made visits to 20 countries to represent Baptists at the highest levels including with Presidents and Prime Ministers of countries; offer comfort in conflict zones; and celebrate pivotal moments around the world.
He is married to Sanna Mapula Msiza and they are proud parents to three adult sons (Siphiwe, Dumisani and Otshepegile Paul Junior).
